Inés López Carrasco es una artista, profesora e investigadora escénica. Su investigación en la práctica performativa se desarrolla a través de la experimentación narrativa, explorando la influencia de la imaginación y la memoria personal, cultural y colectiva en el discurso del propio cuerpo. Trabaja desde un enfoque interdisciplinar, aunando prácticas en torno al movimiento, la palabra, el archivo sonoro y el video.
Tras graduarse en Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance en Londres (2007), continuó su formación en el Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier (ex.e.r.ce 2008). Desde entonces ha trabajado como coreógrafa y performer en la creación y presentación de diversos proyectos escénicos – propios y colaborativos – en diferentes países de Europa.
Como bailarina y performer ha trabajado para coreógrafas/os como Frank Chartier/ Peeping Tom, Antonia Baher, Aitana Cordero, Lies Serdons, Tania Soubry, Xavier LeRoy, Maciej Kuzminski y Kevin Trappeniers, entre otras/os. Colabora en diversas ocasiones en proyectos de artistas visuales y audiovisuales– Carlos Monleón, Bernardo Camisão, Gary Amseian – ideando y dirigiendo material de movimiento para instalaciones interactivas en galerías y performances al aire libre y espacios no convencionales.
Inés también realizó estudios en UCLM y MNCARS de Práctica Escénica y Cultura Visual y es profesora certificada de Feldenkrais desde 2014. Facilita talleres de movimiento y práctica performativa desde un enfoque somático en escuelas y universidades, para estudiantes de danza, teatro, música, fisioterapia, arquitectura, etc.

Inès López Carrasco is a dancer and performance artist, movement researcher and teacher. Her research in performative practice unfolds through narrative experimentation, informed by an exploration of the affects of imagination and personal and social collective memory within the body’s discourse. Across projects, she employs an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating movement, spoken and written word, audio archives, and video. She participated in the program ex.e.r.ce 2008, in the Centre Chorégraphique de Montpellier, after having graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance – BA degree program on Contemporary Dance – London 2007. Since then, she has presented her work in different places and festivals across Europe, often collaborating as a choreographer and dramaturge in different artists’ projects.
As a performer, she has worked with choreographers like Frank Chartier/ Peeping Tom, Antonia Baher, Lies Serdons, Aitana Cordero, Xavier LeRoy, Tania Soubry, Maciej Kuzminski, Kevin Trappeniers and Théatre de la Liberté, amongst others. Throughout her collaborations with different visual artists, she has devised and directed
movement and sensorial performance based materials for interactive installations. Her interventions have adapted to a wide range of contexts and spaces, beyond traditional theatre venues, like galleries, site specific, conference talks and outdoor performances.
Inés has been a certified Feldenkrais teacher since 2014 and also pursued studies in ‘Performing arts practice and visual culture’ at UCLM and MNCARS. She facilitates movement and performative practice workshops from a somatic approach in schools and universities, for students of dance, theatre, music, physiotherapy, architecture, and more.
