Esta producción de BADco. presenta una compleja operación sobre el tiempo. A principios del nuevo siglo nos preguntamos a nosotros mismos: ¿Qué pasa con todas las épocas futuras cuyo tiempo ya ha pasado? ¿Qué ocurre cuando las narrativas fundadoras de la sociedad ya no ofrecen las claves para entender la realidad?
Embarcarse en un viaje teatral a través de parábolas del futuro y recapitulaciones del pasado, a través de una arqueología de visiones y relatos utópicos nunca realizados. El mundo paralelo de Kafka de una «Amerika» imaginaria que nunca tuvo la oportunidad de visitar, la visión futurista de Mayakovski, “The Flying Proletarian”. Un vuelo de doscientos años en el futuro durante el cual te reunirás con los miembros supervivientes de la Liga del Tiempo: un ufólogo, un piloto, un hombre-máquina y un cosmonauta.

As the performance speaks of space travelers, that is cosmonauts, its scientific discourse finds its interpreter in the role of Tomislav Medak who as cosmonaut and ufologist masterfully traverses the intricate landscape of Russian avant-garde. In terms of artistic performance, or to be more precise dance performance, Ana Kreitmeyer, Zrinka Užbinec and Pravdan Devlahović use charm and slapstick comedy inspired episodes to visualize the narrative. «The League of Time» covers a time span of four decades, from the twenties to the sixties of the 20th century, revealing itself to the spectator as a field of mass hallucination, shared utopia in which everything is possible, making for a thoughtful choreography which is a child of his age – a child of postmodernism, a time when we become aware that utopias, unfortunately, do not exist.
